NEWS FROM THE GROUND- NOW WE ARE DEVELOPING CDR BIOCHAR PROJECTS THAT CAN BE SCALED UP FAST

On barriers to upscaling, the IPCC emphasises insufficient investment, limited large-scale production facilities, and high production costs at small scale. The IPCC reports that the greatest uncertainty surrounding biochar as a CDR method is the availability of sustainably sourced biomass for biochar production.

We are very hopeful that we have found solutions to address these barriers and that we can now plan for a Reverse Carbon Hub 1 and several large-scale biochar projects. Sustainable sourced biomass, cost-effective production and biochar repositories for high durability and fast application.
